Hey — I’m Chris. I’m the founder of Ocean Crest Ventures and the host of Making Waves, where I explore how mindset fuels success. But before all that, I’m a husband, a father, a friend, a dog dad, a sports lover, and someone who believes deeply in helping people unlock their potential.
I’m a Husband. I’ve been married to my wife — and business partner — Susan — for over 25 years. She’s my greatest teammate and amazes me every single day. Together, we’ve built businesses, invested in founders, and raised a family that keeps me grounded and grateful.
I’m a Father. Being a dad is the most meaningful role I’ve ever had. Watching my kids grow into strong, kind, and driven people reminds me that leadership starts at home — and that success without family isn’t really success at all.
I’m a Friend. I’m lucky to have lifelong friends who’ve been with me through every season — the wins, the losses, and everything in between. They’ve taught me loyalty, perspective, and how real connection makes every journey richer.
I’m a Dog Dad. Meet Dash — my nine-year-old best friend. He’s loyal, stubborn, and has more personality than most people I know. I walk him every day, and it’s often where I do my best thinking.
I’m a Sports Lover. I’m a proud UConn alum and former college baseball player. Sports are still a big part of my life — I’m a Celtics fan, a fantasy football fanatic, and once co-hosted a national ESPN radio show, Sports Brothers, alongside my brother, Erik.
I’m an Entrepreneur & Philanthropist. I started my first company with Susan back in 1996, and ever since, I’ve been obsessed with helping others find purpose, freedom, and fulfillment through their work and mindset. Through Ocean Crest Ventures, I now invest in and mentor founders who want to build something that matters.
Every part of my life — business, family, faith, friends, and even walking Dash — has taught me the same thing: the new currency is mindset.
